Product Data Sheet

Application

2130 is designed for oxidizing application, harsh chemical environments and areas where contamination is a problem. 2130 is completely chemically inert and is suitable for sealing all chemicals across the pH range with the exception of molten alkali metals and fluorine gas.

Advtantages

Clipperlon 2130 achieves very good stability and tightness with good blow-out resistance especially in demanding steel flange applications. The good resistance behavior of the material leads to increased operating safety, even in changing operating conditions.

Chemical Compatiblity

Patricularly suitable for use with hydrofluoric acid, but not pure hydrogen fluoride. Best for use with string alkalis, solvents, fuels, water, steam and chlorine. Other applications include solvents, fuels, water, oil, chlorine and caustics. A chemical resistance list is available upon request.

Delivery Options

Flange gaskets and sheets are available in thickness of 1/32",1/16", 1/8". Other thicknesses available on request. Standard gaskets can be supplied in accordance with ASME B16.21. Non-standard or special gaskets can be manufactured according to customer drawings, or by given sizes or Edrawing.

Temperature

Particularly suitable for use with hydrofluoric acid, but not pure hydrogen fluoride. Best for use with strong alkalis, solvents, fuels, water, steam and chlorine. Other applications include solvents, fuels, water, oil, chlorine and caustics. A chemical resistance list is available upon request.Pressure up to 1500 psi. Temperature from -450 ºF up to 500 ºF.
