These products are often supplied to manufacturers or distributors of oilfield equipment and for maintenance applications. The Kammprofile Gasket
The Kammprofile (camprofile) Gasket is a gasket that is used in heat exchangers, large vessels and units that see excessive movement from thermal expansion. These gaskets are a very good alternative for metal jacketed gaskets. This product can withstand temperatures ranging from –450 °F up to 850 degrees °F (steam 1200 °F) thanks to its graphite layers. When the product is manufactured with mica layers, it can withstand temperatures of up to 1800 °F.
Types of Kammprofile gaskets
Leader's Kammprofile gaskets consist of a metallic core with serrated concentric grooves. It is possible to produce this gasket out of many metals. Titanium, Monel, Zirconium, Hastalloy, 304, 316 and many more. They can be overlayed with graphite, PTFE or Mica. If required, we can also produce metallic layers of pure silver or aluminium. There are three types of Kammprofile gaskets, all with their own unique characteristics.
